This year’s theme, The Art of Transformation, honors the healing power of the arts in the body and in the community. The evening will reflect growth, renewal, creativity, and the powerful ways art changes lives.

Antoinette "Toni" M. Slick
Cici Brown Legacy Award
Honors an individual whose leadership, generosity, and unwavering commitment have made a lasting and transformative impact on the arts in Volusia County. This award celebrates a legacy of vision, philanthropy, and dedication that continues to inspire and strengthen our creative community.

Recipient: Antoinette “Toni” M. Slick
Antoinette “Toni” Slick is an award-winning abstract painter known for her richly textured, non-objective works inspired by everyday patterns and surfaces. Working in acrylics, her expressive pieces invite reflection and personal interpretation. Her work has been exhibited throughout the region, including the retrospective “A Life Filled with Art” at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum & Gardens.

A graduate of Kent State University, Toni was also a dedicated educator and mentor, inspiring generations through her passion for creativity and learning. Her work is included in the permanent collection at the Museum of Arts & Sciences, and she has received numerous honors, including recognition through the Halifax Art Festival.
We proudly honor Toni Slick for her lasting impact and a life devoted to the arts.
Outstanding Arts & Cultural Organization Award Celebrates a nonprofit organization whose programs, leadership, and community engagement enrich the cultural fabric of Volusia County.
